MY favorite Classic (other than my 72 shovel) would be either a 1972 Night Train or a 1981 Sturgis.

1977-'79 XLCR. Wanted one in High School and wish I could find one some day. Only 9 were produced in 1979 but my pop wouldn't buy me one for graduation. The Cafe Racer was so advanced for it's time.

Mine is the 99 FXR (CVO)in arresting red. It was by far the best model made. Resembled the bagger frame of today and was a great handling bike.

I like the old knuckleheads. I've started researching where I can get the stuff to build a WLA, I think it is, that the Army used for courier bikes. Gonna be a helluva project but i think it can be pulled off. Won't BE original--that would be the holy grail-- but it will damn sure look and sound the part!!

I don't think I could pick a fav. The Panhead to the twin cam or even the V-rod motor, they all represent an era and made their mark in history pages of this country.

My all time is a 47 Knuck. Rigid, Kicker, thats when men were men and women were glad of it. I always knew I was born 20 years too late.

I've had a few bikes, from a 55 chopper (a show winner) to a 77 lowrider to my current 06 electrglide. I often hear how much better the new bikes are compared to the old ones, and I'm sure they probably are but I truley believe the best bike I ever had was a 58 duoglide. I didn't leave it stock but mildly custom (seat, pipes, minus windshield and bags). Smooth, stable and very dependable, and very few problems. Most troublesome is a toss-up between the 55 chopper(vibrated like hell, lost many parts) and the 77 lowrider not counting the british bikes.
